When you use BOSS TONE STUDIO for RC
When using BOSS TONE STUDIO for RC, before you start, check the following points.

< RC-202 >
  • available
  • Set "USB Mode" to "mass storage mode."
< RC-3 >
< RC-30 >
< RC-300 >
  • Set "USB Mode" to "STORAGE."
  • Verify that the RC-300 itself is at the latest version.
< RC-505 >
  • Set "USB Mode" to "STORAGE."
  • Verify that the RC-505 itself is at the latest version.

DOWNLOAD AND EXPAND THE ARCHIVE FILE
Download the file named "bts_rc_w110_en.zip".
The downloaded file is an archive file in zip format. Double-click it to expand it.

HOW TO INSTALL
  1. Going into the bts_rc_w110_en folder created by expanding bts_rc_w110_en.zip and double-clicking BOSS_TONE_STUDIO_for_RC_x86_en.msi starts installation.
  2. Thereafter, follow the on-screen installation instructions to proceed with installation.
  3. When the "Installation Complete" message appears, click [close] to finish.

STARTING THE APPLICATION
  1. Turn on RC Series.
  2. Connect RC Series and computer with USB cable.
    For more information on how to make the connection, refer to the RC series owner's manual, "Connecting to Your Computer via USB."
  3. Double click the BOSS TONE STUDIO for RC icon.

* If you're using Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, use BOSS TONE STUDIO for RC Ver. 1.2.0 for Windows.

* Internet connectivity is required for using functions of TONE CENTRAL and downloading updated version of TONE STUDIO. (Please note that you might be charged for packet fee depends on your connectivity service.)
