BOSS TONE STUDIO for SL-2 Ver.1.0.0 for Windows


Please refer to the Using BOSS TONE STUDIO for SL-2 for details on how to use.

DOWNLOAD INSTALLER
  1. Read the Software License Agreement at the bottom of this screen and tick the “I Agree...” checkbox.
  2. Click the “Download” button to download the BOSS OTNE STUDIO for SL-2 installer (bts_sl2_w100.zip).
  3. Right-click on the file to select “Extract All” then click on “Extract”.

HOW TO INSTALL
  1. Double-click “BOSS TONE STUDIO for SL-2 Installer.exe” in the extracted folder.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install.

STARTING THE APPLICATION
  1. Connect the SL-2 to your computer with a USB cable.
  2. Turn on the power of the SL-2.
    *Insert a plug into the INPUT A (MONO) jack to turn on the power.
    *You can edit livesets and download livesets from BOSS TONE CENTRAL even if the SL-2 is not connected to your computer via a USB cable.
  3. Click the Windows “Start” and go to “BOSS TONE STUDIO for SL-2”, then select “BOSS TONE STUDIO for SL-2”.
    *The first time you launch the software, the dialog box “Choose a device to connect with.” appears. On the second and subsequent startups, the device is selected automatically.
  4. Select SL-2 and click “OK”.
    *During using the application, if a message prompting you to allow access appears, click “OK”.
    *After starting the application, if connecting BOSS TONE STUDIO for SL-2 and the SL-2 is not possible, then in Windows 10/11, set “Allow apps to access your microphone” to “On”.
    1. Click “Start” -> “Settings” -> “Privacy” -> “Microphone”.
      The microphone setting is displayed.
    2. To change the setting, move the “Allow apps to access your microphone” switch to “On”.
    3. Close the window and quit Settings.

*An Internet connection is required to access BOSS TONE CENTRAL content and to update the BOSS TONE STUDIO. Some connection services may require an additional packet communication fee.
*Operation of this app on a standard computer that satisfies the conditions just described has been confirmed, but all operation under these conditions is not assured. Please be aware that even under identical conditions, computer-specific differences in design specifications or usage environment might result in differences in processing capacity.
